POETRY

untitled on mother's day
by Cedric Brown

mama
sometimes i think u must
wonder how u got this
chile with strange
ideas pushing your mind
into uncomfortable new realms

but thank u mama
for allowing a
sense of wonder
to bloom and for
lending a trusting ear
for thoughts to land
softly
