If you have family or friends you can't help worrying about, this post by Secret Agent Josephine may give voice to some of those 3 a.m. thoughts you have. I know it did for me.
Like SAJ, I sometimes dream about having a little business or a farm where I could somehow employ and safely house and feed the people in my life I worry about. Of course, as it is now I have enough on my plate feeding and clothing and housing the three little people living here right now. (Surprisingly hard part about parenting? The selfishness that comes along with being a mother and having to say, "My kids need me first. I can't be there for you, too, right now.) |
