Garrison Keillor nails it on the head (at least this here head of mine) with his lovely little piece "Remembrance of Things Past" over at Salon.com. Couldn't all of us stand a little more whee in our lives?
Shhhh, I'm going to our pantry right now and searching for anything with partially hydrogenated oil and then I'm going to eat it and then I swear I'm going to figure out a plan to bring salami, adult party nights (yes, even for parent-type people), maternity moo-moos (Marc Jacobs, could he make it happen?), peace, and love back in style. |
