Miranda: Motherhood and Other Adventures
posted by Amy
Miranda, Kate Haas' print zine, is the perfect size and weight to be tucked into the diaper bags and purses of mamas everywhere. And it should be—it's a smart, literate, funny zine with short pieces that can be read while waiting for school to let out or baseball practice to end or wherever you find yourself wishing you'd remembered your book.
In the latest issue, #14, Kate writes about what she's read lately, including Michelle Herman's latest and Rad Dad, plus the story of how she met her husband and her memories of working for the The New England Journal of Medicine. My favorite? The "Who Do You Love?" literature poll, which gives eight responses to the question, "Which character in literature would you most want to marry or have a fling with?"
